Asia stocks climb tracking Wall St rally; Nikkei hits record high, China GDP beats
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Cement and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BAAN Holding Group Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1820), which rose 9.73% or 0.22 points to trade at 2.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) added 7.66% or 0.17 points to end at 2.39 and Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4162) was up 5.77% or 4.20 points to 77.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270), which fell 3.24% or 0.60 points to trade at 17.92 at the close. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (TADAWUL:2130) declined 3.07% or 0.98 points to end at 30.90 and The National Shipping Co. (TADAWUL:4030) was down 3.06% or 0.75 points to 23.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 181 to 136 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.92% or 0.60 to $66.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.86% or 0.58 to hit $67.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 11.30 to trade at $3,361.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.33% to 4.41, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 96.67.
